Terms of Service

Welcome to Rap Verdict ("Service," "we," "us"). By creating an account or accessing the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Rap Verdict. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to terminate any account found to belong to a user under 16.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abuse, or are inactive for extended periods.

3. What Rap Verdict Is

Rap Verdict is a battle rap analytics and community platform. It provides:

  • •AI Battle Analysis — automated round-by-round scorecards, verdicts, and sentiment breakdowns powered by large language models
  • •Global Battle Statistics — leaderboards, W/L records, RV Scores, and view-count rankings sourced from YouTube and our battle database
  • •Battle Submissions — registered users may submit battles for community consideration and admin review
  • •Community Features — picks, votes, predictions, and live chat on battles, events, leagues, and rapper pages
  • •Credits System — a purchasable credit balance used to unlock AI-generated battle analyses and other premium features (see Section 6)

AI verdicts are analytical opinions generated by automated systems. They are not objective human judgments and should be treated as one perspective among many.

4. User Content

You may contribute chat messages, picks, votes, predictions, and battle submissions. By contributing, you:

  • •Grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and use that content to operate and improve the Service
  • •Retain ownership of your original content
  • •Confirm that your content does not violate the conduct rules below

Prohibited content includes: harassment, hate speech, threats, spam, illegal material, impersonation, doxxing, sexually explicit content, malicious links, or any content that violates applicable law.

5. Battle Submissions

Registered users may submit battle URLs for review. Submissions are reviewed by our admin team before being added to the database. We reserve the right to reject, delay, or remove any submission at our sole discretion. Submitting a battle does not guarantee it will be published or that an AI analysis will be generated.

6. Credits and Purchases

Rap Verdict offers purchasable credits that unlock AI battle analyses and other premium features.

  • •Credits are non-refundable once consumed (i.e., once an analysis is successfully generated)
  • •Unused credits may be refunded within 14 days of purchase if no credits have been spent; contact support@rapverdict.com
  • •Credits have no cash value and are non-transferable between accounts
  • •We reserve the right to adjust credit pricing, feature costs, and availability with reasonable notice
  • •Payments are processed through Stripe. By purchasing credits you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service

7. Acceptable Use

You will not:

  • •Abuse sign-up flows, voting, or prediction systems
  • •Attempt to reverse-engineer or bypass security measures
  • •Automate excessive requests or scrape data without permission
  • •Attempt to vote, pick, or submit multiple times using duplicate accounts
  • •Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm rappers, leagues, or other users

8. AI Verdicts — Disclaimer

RV Score, round-by-round scores, body bag designations, and all AI-generated content are produced by automated language models trained on battle transcripts and community data. These outputs:

  • •Are not the opinion of any specific human reviewer
  • •May contain errors, omissions, or biases inherent to the underlying model
  • •Are provided for entertainment, analysis, and community discussion only
  • •Are not endorsements of any rapper or characterization of real events

9. Intellectual Property

The Rap Verdict name, logo, design, and scoring methodology are proprietary. Battle footage remains the property of the respective leagues and creators. We do not host video — we link to YouTube. Rapper names and personas belong to the individuals themselves.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of AI verdicts, the availability of any specific battle or feature, or the completion of pending submissions.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 90 days preceding the claim, or (b) $50 USD. Some jurisdictions do not allow such limitations; your statutory rights may vary.

12. Termination

To request account deletion, contact us at support@rapverdict.com. We will process your request and remove your profile, username reservation, and authentication credentials. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, abuse, or risk to the Service. Unused credits are forfeited upon account deletion.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where the operator is established. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes informally before resorting to formal legal proceedings.
