When the hottest 2-on-2 team in the game, NWX, stepped into Detroit to face the veteran pioneers Quest MCODY and Marvwon, the result was pure fireworks. This was a classic tale of new-school creativity versus old-school aggression, set against the backdrop of one of battle rap's most notoriously loyal crowds. The battle exploded out of the gate with a lyrical first round that could've gone either way, but the entire event pivoted in the second.
